Also known as ear wax. Cerumen can block you from getting sound to your eardrum. It's important to keep your ears clean of debris.
If you find yourself turning up the volume more and more, it's a good time to have your ears checked and determine if you have a blockage caused by excessive ear wax...or a more severe hearing issue.
Video Otoscopy
A video technology that allows audiology professionals to see if there is an abnormality in the ear canal that could be causing a hearing problem.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) FM Systems
You may have certain communications needs that can't be solved alone by hearing aids. For example, when you use the telephone or listen to the radio, you still may have difficulty hearing clearly.
Special devices have been developed to solve these problems. Assistive listening devices make specific desired sounds, rather than all sounds (in the surrounding environment) louder for more clarity.
Tinnitus diagnostics and management
Tinnitus is a common condition, where a person experiences a ringing, rushing, or buzzing in the ears. Tinnitus will not cause you to go deaf, but its presence may affect your daily activities.
Our professionals can help recommend a course of action to deal with this persistent problem. Each person has an individual response to treatment. Our goal is to work with you to minimize and potentially eliminate this condition.
